The new digital expansion of swtor, Knights of the Fallen Empire has received much concern before it was officially introduced. Now after the E 3 Conference and a few days’ discussion, more details about the character and companions for this new expansion have been revealed.
Play as Outlander and influenced by your past character
According to official introduction after E3 Conference, this expansion is mainly about personal puts saga, in which you will play as the Outlander (at start level 60), while your previous choice matter much for your character in new expansion. Described in details, the past of your character will be a key part of their identity as the Outlander moving forward. Your previous choices, romances pursuing, class choosing, and other elements will all may difference for who your character is. Saying as before, your choice on path will decide the fate of both the Sith Empire and Galactic Republic. Five new companions provided to recruit alliance, or betray you
The release of Knights of the Fallen Empire will grant you five new companions. You can build a team of hand-picked allies to join your alliance; meet new companions and reunite with existing companions ready to offer you their loyalty. To clarify here, it was confirmed that not everyone on that official list will become a companion, and not every companion in the story is included in that list. So you may just wait and play to see which classes can recruit which characters, who can be romanced, which can you kill and who might betray you.
The level cap is up to 65 and level 60 provided as option
In the expansion, player cap will be raised to 65, while you will receive one free level 60 character when you get Fallen Empire. Note that this character must be a new character instead of upgrading an existing character up to 60. Beyond that, additional level 60 characters can be also purchased from the Cartel Market at any time.
Nine chapters of stories will be available in Knights of the Fallen Empire
As we introduced before, the new expansion is all about a dynamic story and will release on a regular basis. Specifically, there will be total 16 chapters, among which the first nine chapters will be available when Knights of the Fallen Empire releases. Thus, the remaining 7 chapters will be released in 2016.
